About

Based in Washington, DC, Nadia Fisher is a self-taught artist and illustrator striving to normalize inclusion in children's books and the illustration world.  She wants children from all backgrounds to be able to see themselves in the books they read, and she hopes to instill a sense of confidence and joy in them as well. Nadia's debut picture book, Daddy Dressed Me, written by Michael and Ava Gardner, released in March of 2023, followed by Daddy & Me, Side By Side, written by Pierce Freelon in May 2023. When she is not drawing or painting, you can either find Nadia spending time in nature with her husband and daughter, or binge watching shows, documentaries, and movies.

Clients include Simon & Schuster, Little, Brown, HarperCollins, Scholastic UK, Penguin Random House, the ACLU, 51 for 51, Fight for 15, First Name Basis Podcast, and Jennifer Niven.

She is represented by Jemiscoe Chambers-Black at the Andrea Brown Literary Agency. For publishing inquiries, please contact Jemiscoe at jemiscoe@andreabrownlit.com
